Ackly enforces limits based on your plan across three dimensions: workspaces, sources, and events.

Monthly event limits
Ackly counts events per billing period. The counter resets at the start of each new billing period. The Free plan counters reset on the 1st of each UTC calendar month.
When your account reaches its monthly event limit, the ingest endpoint returns:
HTTP 429 Too Many RequestsOnce the limit is reached, additional events are not ingested until the counter resets automatically at the start of your next billing period — or upgrade your plan to raise the limit.
Event retention
Events are retained for the duration of your plan’s retention window:
- Free — 14 days
- Starter — 30 days
- Pro — 365 days

If you reach your plan’s workspace or source limit, upgrade to add more.
